This was my attempt at a Western. I'm a huge Western fan, and have always wanted to write one of my own. The result of this work is more of a historical novel set in the Old West, but there are elements of a classic Western as well. Now if only Clint Eastwood (my favorite actor) would develop this into a screenplay and direct and star in one last Western. In this book we meet Intensity, a man whose story wasn’t unique. His son had died at age three of fever. His wife had died shortly after of a broken heart…at her own hand. He was alone in the world. When the war came, he headed out west. He found out the West wasn’t much better. Armed with a six-shooter, a rifle, and his own will to survive, he gains a reputation as a man of action, and with it, the nickname of Intensity. In a world where everyone wants him dead, he is just trying to stay alive.
